According to reports, the US is preparing to launch a ground deployment of the US Army inside Iran. In response, Iran is also mobilizing one million soldiers to repel any potential impact created by the US Army. The recruitment is being conducted by Basij, the IRGC, and the Iranian Army. According to the source, a large number of young Iranians have come forward and are willing to take part in the war. The Washington Post reported that the Pentagon is ready to prepare for weeks of ground operations in Iran, but it is not yet clear whether it will be approved by Trump.

The Iranian news agency Tasnim quoted a military source stating that any possible US engagement in ground combat on Iran’s southern front could be met with Iran’s one million fighters.

In a separate incident, at least 15 American soldiers have been wounded because of at least six ballistic missiles and 29 drones were hit by Iran on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

The UAE has seen the highest number of ballistic missile attacks in weeks. A major plant in Abu Dhabi belonging to Global Aluminum was hit and significantly damaged. The number of strikes in the Gulf region by Iran has forced the UAE and Kuwait to keep their air defense systems active overnight.

Furthermore, Yemen’s Houthis, who is backed by Iran has launched a second missile attack on Israel. Many analysts believe that if the Houthis start targeting shipping passing through the Bab al-Mandab Strait at the southern end of the Red Sea, it will create further disturbances in the global economy.
